Most HR-template products lean on annual subscriptions ($228–$1,850/year) or bundled packs ($190–$590) to anchor higher revenue per customer. Those models work for the seller; they introduce friction for the buyer who needed one document this morning.
We've made the opposite trade. Each document is its own purchase, at $49. The buyer leaves with what they came for. We get fewer dollars per customer; we earn the next purchase by being the place the practitioner defaults to when the next document is needed.
If you find yourself buying ten or twelve documents, that's the right read on your needs — and you'll spend less than a single-year SHRM membership for far more relevant content.
The honest answers before you buy.
- Why $49 per document?
- It's the price an HR practitioner, founder, or small-business owner will spend without procurement friction — and the price that funds editorial-grade quality (legal-reviewed, jurisdictionally specific, quarterly updated). General-legal-document platforms charge $39.99 per document; we charge a modest premium for documents that were written by HR practitioners, for HR practitioners.
- What's actually included?
- Every purchase includes three formats — Word (.docx), signature-ready PDF, and a Google Docs link you can one-click copy to your own Drive. Quarterly updates to the document are included for twelve months from purchase. A commercial-use licence permits use inside your organisation and for fee-paying client engagements you control.
- What's NOT included?
- There is no subscription. There is no bundle. There is no team plan. There is no tiering. We deliberately scrapped all of those to keep the offer honest: one product, one price, no upsell. If you need ten documents, you buy ten documents.
- What is your refund policy?
- A 7-day refund window applies. Email us within 7 days of purchase and we will refund without argument. After 7 days, refunds are not available.
- How often are documents updated?
- On a quarterly review cycle. Legal and HR practitioners review each document against current law and practice; any changes are republished and you get the new version automatically as long as your 12-month update window is active.
- Which jurisdictions do you cover?
- US and AU at launch. UK and Canada follow as we ship more documents. Each document is labelled with its jurisdiction; some documents (NDAs, generic policies) are global; jurisdiction-specific contracts and letters are labelled US or AU.
- Can I use these for client work?
- Yes. The commercial licence permits use inside your own organisation and use for fee-paying client engagements you control. You may not resell the documents themselves or redistribute them under your own brand.
